Sales Coordinator – Logistics Executive

In order to continue the growth of our successful South America Division, we are currently looking for a Sales Coordinator – Logistics Executive to join our South America team in either Argentina or Ecuador.

Position : Sales Coordinator – Logistics Executive

The successful candidates will need:

  • Ecuador or Argentina nationality or permanent residence
  • At least 2 years experience with import / export / trading and documentation for frozen seafood or other food products
  • Strong attention to detail, as required for import and export documentation.
  • Understanding of import & export regulations for North and South American, European and Asian countries.
  • Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English language, Portuguese would be an advantage.
  • Excellent service skills and mindset
  • Self-motivated, detailed, dynamic and highly organized.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure and also able to take initiative when necessary.

Job description:

  •  Co-ordinating timely production of export / import documents
  • Experience with L/C & negotiation with foreign banks
  • Coordinating with overseas offices, overseas bankers, etc.
  • Handling logistic issues with shipping lines.
  • Work as part of a multinational logistics group.
  • Ensuring that Customer and Supplier import/export requirements can be met
  • Act as main point of customer and supplier contact after the sales contract is completed.
  • Tracking shipments and provide shipment information to customers
  • Contact with suppliers to follow up the delivery schedule to meet customer requirements
  • Coordinate with sales team and other related departments and suppliers to make sure that all shipments will be delivered as per customer’s schedule.
  • Coordinate and organize the quality inspection and loading supervision when requested
  • Solve problems by cooperating with relevant agencies and authorities
  • Enter data into the company Management Information System and keep updated.
  • Preparing related documents for sales and accounts departments
  • Any other duties as assigned
