Shrimp recipes are simple to cook with easily available ingredients at your home. The normal duration for cooking a shrimp dish starts from 10 to 15 minutes. So like a fast food it is not time consuming to prepare a shrimp dish.

The fried shrimp can be prepared first by putting the pan on the flame to heat. Put some desirable amount of cooking oil into it. Allow the oil to take heat for 2 or 3 minutes. Then put the washed shrimp into the oil, put some spice powders like chili powder, turmeric powder and salt to the shrimp. Mix them well and cover the pan up for 10 minutes. Remove the cover and check the shrimp. If it’s completely fried, put out the flame and serve the dish.
The dried and fried shrimp can also be used as salad with meals. When visit Asia you can come across many places offering you different spicy shrimp dishes. The spicy shrimp dish is prepared by frying the spice of onion, ginger and garlic paste in the oil and putting dry spice powders and flavors into it. The raw shrimp of fried shrimp is then allowed to mix well with the fried spice to bring in the delicious aroma and taste.

Asian shrimp is caught fresh year-round and is pretty rich in high-quality protein. It is really an ideal food for those who prefer low carbohydrate diet. Other than that, shrimp is a major source of omega-3 fatty acid which reduces the heart related illnesses.

From early spring through early fall majority of the shrimps spawn in deep water. The eggs are many in number since one single female usually releases thousands of eggs which hatch within a day. The young shrimps move down by the water currents towards coastal estuaries where they grow up.
